USC Rossier will have a significant presence at the 2025 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting, taking place from April 23 to 27 in Denver, Colorado. Themed “Research, Remedy, and Repair: Toward Just Education Renewal,” the national conference calls on education researchers to collaboratively address systemic inequalities and societal challenges by leveraging interdisciplinary research to inform holistic remedies and foster equitable, democratic educational renewal.

Expected to draw over 15,000 attendees, the conference offers a platform for scholars to engage in discussions and share innovative research. This year, over 60 USC Rossier faculty, postdoctoral and doctoral students will be presenting across key educational issues including AI in education, racial equity, climate literacy, student belonging and school board governance.

USC Rossier will also host a reception on April 24 at the Hyatt Regency Denver, celebrating its faculty, students and alumni. Notably, Professors Erika Patall and Julie Posselt have been named 2025 AERA Fellows, recognizing their outstanding contributions to education research. To RSVP for the reception, please visit here.
