Doctoral Degrees

Doctor of Education (EdD) Programs

The Doctor of Education (EdD) is directed towards educational practice and the application of theory and research. The EdD is different in substance, but equal in rigor, to the PhD.

  • EdD in Educational Leadership Online or on campus. Designed for professional who want to lead K-12 schools, universities, or other educational organizations. International and Independent School Cohorts offered.
  • EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership Fully online – interrogate the systems of power that shape policies and practices, and lead effective and innovative solutions.
  • Global Executive Doctor of Education Hybrid learning format designed for senior-level professionals in an accelerated format with travel and coursework in Los Angeles and up to four countries.
  • EdD in Mental Health Leadership Fully online – drive positive change as a leader in the delivery of mental health services

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programs

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education program aims to prepare students to conduct high quality, consequential research that advances education.

  • PhD in Education On campus – Advance education through research in four concentrations: Educational Psychology, Higher Education, K-12 Education Policy and Teacher Education
