Program Overview
The certificate in Leadership in Enrollment Management, offered by the Pullias Center for Higher Education, will prepare you with knowledge, skills, and tools to bring mission-driven leadership to admissions, financial aid, and other enrollment management activities. Our thoughtfully designed program is created for individuals or campus teams, with a tuition discount available to teams. The content is thematic, ensuring that whether you work in a K-12/ independent school, higher education institution, or graduate/professional program, you will leave each session with actionable insights.

- Remain employed while completing all coursework online;
- Enjoy a balance of asynchronous sessions that flex with your busy schedule and live/synchronous discussion sessions;
- Receive support in developing an individually-designed capstone that showcases the knowledge, skills, and problem-solving capacity you have developed; and
- (Optional) Meet in person with other enrollment leaders with complimentary registration to the annual CERPP Conference held in Los Angeles in February.
Curriculum
The Leadership in Enrollment Management Certificate Program prepares current and emerging leaders to navigate today’s complex educational environment with clarity, strategy and confidence. Through a leadership lens, participants explore the foundations of enrollment management — including institutional alignment, admission models, financial aid strategy and student recruitment.
Key topics include data-informed decision-making, goal setting, student success,and legal and ethical considerations. The program emphasizes expanding access and opportunity, with sessions that support leaders in reaching and supporting a broad range of students while managing and developing high-performing teams.
The experience culminates in a practical case study, blending real-world application with strategic reflection. With built-in opportunities for networking and professional growth, this flexible, impactful curriculum equips you to lead change and drive results across your institution.
Online Learning Experience
Each week, you’ll spend about 5-7 hours engaging with asynchronous videos, readings, discussions and activities — entirely on your own schedule.
Optional live sessions are offered periodically to enrich your learning. Can’t attend live? Recordings will be available to watch anytime.

Tuition & Scholarships/Discounts
Tuition for the program is $8,000 and is payable by the first day of the course, unless otherwise arranged. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure your space. An interest-free payment plan is available upon request.
Team Discount
Institutions enrolling teams of two or more people receive a team discount. Cross-department participation is a powerful way to strengthen your enrollment management strategy. Please inquire to enroll your team.

One of the world’s leading research centers on higher education, the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the USC Rossier School of Education advances innovative, scalable solutions to improve college outcomes for underserved students and to enhance the performance of postsecondary institutions. The mission of the Pullias Center is to bring an equity-focused, multidisciplinary perspective to complex social, political and economic issues in higher education. The Center is currently engaged in research projects to improve access, admissions and outcomes for low-income, first-generation students, improve the performance of postsecondary institutions, assess the role of contingent faculty, understand how colleges can undergo reform to increase their effectiveness, analyze emerging organizational forms such as for-profit institutions, and assess the educational trajectories of community college students.
