The Summer Gifted Institute AND Demonstration School is an opportunity to observe master teachers implement the most current curriculum ideas and instructional strategies to differentiate curriculum for academically, linguistically, and culturally diverse gifted students. The Summer Gifted Institute provides content in the form of:
- seminars that present new content and theories
- workshops that expose educators to advanced methods in differentiated curriculum
- demonstration lessons that provide a first-hand look at differentiated curriculum and student responses
- curriculum writing sessions that provide participants with a chance to write and receive feedback on lesson plans and units of study
This year’s Summer Gifted Institute includes sessions held in June 2019 and August 2019.
