Join the USC Rossier Office of Admissions and Scholarships to learn more about the Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (EDL) and EDL Online program. Designed to accommodate your schedule as a working professional, this three-year program trains you to become a critically conscious leader with the skills to address inequities in education that affect learning opportunities and outcomes in K-12 and Higher Education settings. This webinar will cover program coursework, concentrations, and an application overview. A minimum of three years full-time work experience and a master’s degree are required to apply.

USC Rossier Doctoral Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, May 10 at 3:00 p.m. in McCarthy Quad. Graduates will be hooded by their Faculty Chair and congratulated by the Dean. A reception will immediately follow with faculty, family and friends.
USC Rossier School of Education Master’s Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 12 at 3:45 p.m. in McCarthy Quad. During the Master’s ceremony each graduate will be celebrated, hear remarks from speakers, congratulated by the Dean and immediately followed by a reception with faculty, family and friends. Livestream will be available.

Over four days on USC’s campus, superintendents and their leadership teams will meet with world-recognized education researchers and accomplished PK-12 superintendents, explore case studies on advancing equity, and develop a student-focused engagement plan for their district that is designed to improve student outcomes. By applying innovative mindsets to your problem of practice, you will examine global trends in education to design school- and classroom-level learning environments that are rooted in student-led economic, social and political empowerment. You will leave the Breakthrough Leadership Institute critically conscious leaders with the resolve and preparation to implement an Engagement Plan that addresses entrenched inequities that affect self-determined learning opportunities for students.
