USC Rossier Leadership Series: Scott W. Thayer EdD ’07, President of Cypress College

Join us for a dynamic conversation with Scott Thayer EdD ’07, President of Cypress College, as part of the USC Rossier Leadership Series.

This event aims to unite thought partners, support future leaders, empower those in leadership roles and showcase the impact of the USC Rossier Trojan Family. 

Thayer is an advocate for historically underrepresented students and was integral in establishing a food pantry, housing support and basic needs resources in prior roles. He arrived as the 13th President of Cypress College in January 2024. 

Thayer received his doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from USC Rossier, is a part-time faculty member at San Diego State and founding member of two non-profit organizations.
