Bio
Junmin Byon (he/him/his) is pursuing a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in K-12 Education Policy. He is working with Dr. Morgan Polikoff at the USC EdPolicy Hub. Junmin is interested in exploring the policies to best serve English Learners.
He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California and received his BA in Global Studies from Azusa Pacific University.
He worked as a research assistant at the Homeless Policy Research Institute and interned at Koreatown Youth Community Center, learning about the community in LA and researching to best serve the community.
