Travel Requirements

LOS ANGELES TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Global Executive Ed.D. students are required to travel for on-ground instruction (intensive sessions) to the USC campus in Los Angeles every summer; there are three summer terms over the course of the program.

These three summer intensive sessions at USC are all during critical junctures of the program: the first term (1^st summer) when coursework begins, the fifth term (2^nd summer) when students complete their dissertation proposal defenses, and the ninth term (3^rd summer) when students complete their final dissertation defenses and participate in the commencement ceremony.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

Students are required to travel for three out of four intensive sessions that are held outside of the United States. Ideally, students should travel for all four of these non-USA intensive sessions to maximize their international education learning opportunities; however, they may opt to join one of these intensive sessions online.

Students who do not travel for one of the intensive sessions outside of the United States will not be charged a travel fee for that corresponding term, which will result in the reduction of the overall program cost of $170,000.
