Program Overview
Through the Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies progressive degree, you can fast track the completion of both your undergraduate degree and Master of Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies. The Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies program will help you gain the skills to design, develop, implement and evaluate learning and instruction in a variety of settings, including PK-12, higher education, military, nonprofit and corporate learning environments.
Familiarize yourself with the Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies program, including the curriculum and cost of attendance prior to applying to the progressive degree. If you apply to a progressive degree program without prior coursework in a USC Rossier minor, you will need to complete all required coursework for the Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies degree. However, as a progressive degree student, you will begin Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies program coursework prior to completing your undergraduate degree.
USC Rossier Minor Pathway
If you enroll in one of USC Rossier’s minor programs while an undergraduate student, you can waive courses in the Learning Design with AI and Emerging Technologies program with courses completed in the minor. You can waive up to 2 courses (3-5 graduate units).

Traditional Pathway
If you apply to a progressive degree program without prior coursework in a USC Rossier minor, you will need to complete all required coursework for the LDT degree. However, as a progressive degree student, you will begin LDT program coursework prior to completing your undergraduate degree.
Financial Aid
Progressive degree students are classified as undergraduate students until their undergraduate degree is conferred or they complete 144 units, whichever comes first.
