Gregory Sneed

Gregory Sneed, Ed.D., teaches Research Methods and Data Analysis at the University of Southern California (USC). His academic and professional expertise spans quantitative research methods, data analysis, higher education, college admissions, enrollment management, and financial aid.

Dr. Sneed’s research focuses on the application of quantitative methods to problems in education, including the use of statistical analysis to understand student enrollment, engagement, and success. As an instructor, he emphasizes research literacy and seeks to make complex concepts in statistics, research design, and data analysis accessible by translating them into clear, practical language.

In addition to his teaching at USC, Dr. Sneed serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Union College in Schenectady, New York. He leads Union’s Division of Enrollment Management and oversees institutional strategy related to admissions, student recruitment, enrollment, financial aid, and student success.

Dr. Sneed previously served as Vice Provost for Enrollment Management at the University of Minnesota and as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Denison University. Over the course of his career in higher education, he has held leadership positions focused on enrollment strategy and the use of data and analytics to inform institutional decision-making.

Dr. Sneed earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis; a Master of Education from Harvard University; and a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California.
