Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (PASA)
USC Rossier’s Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (PASA) program offers paid graduate assistantships that provide hands-on experience in higher education settings, while preparing you for your desired career in student affairs.
The majority of PASA students participate in graduate assistantships on the USC campus and/or at a number of colleges and universities within the Los Angeles area. With the full support and guidance of our team, you will have the freedom to select and apply for an opportunity tailored to your professional goals.
Beginning after your admission to the program, you will have the opportunity to apply for assistantships throughout your time in the program. However, it’s recommended that you first interview for opportunities at the annual USC Rossier Preview Day for incoming PASA students. Assistantships include (but are not limited to):
- Residential education
- Multicultural resource centers
- Resource centers
- Student-athlete academic services
- Enrollment services
- Orientation events
- Greek life
- International student services and programs
- Campus activities
- Student judicial affairs and community standards
- Career services
Graduate assistantship positions are typically compensated by an hourly wage while some may offer tuition remission, or, in the case of residential education, room and board.
