The Master of Education in Enrollment Management and Policy (EMP) program is offered in an interactive and dynamic online learning environment. The virtual classroom, which utilizes the Blackboard learning management system, is your one-stop platform for all aspects of the curriculum. All readings, videos, discussions and assignments are at your fingertips in an easy-to-use interface.
In the virtual classroom environment, you will interact with student colleagues and faculty both synchronously (classes occurring in real time) and asynchronously (projects that can be completed any time of day). Synchronous discussions occur in the Blackboard Collaborate live classroom. Here, you will learn directly from our master faculty through interactive mini-lectures. The learning experience is bolstered by highly interactive, engaging and collaborative small-group discussions facilitated by faculty.
Asynchronous interaction provides time for individual reflection and interaction with colleagues. Carefully crafted questions trigger thought and open up discussions that dissect concepts from multiple perspectives, providing a deep dive into the complexities of enrollment management.
