The Bilingual Authorization for Spanish Certificate designation authorizes the holder with bilingual capabilities teach to a bilingual student population. Applicants must already be English-Spanish bilingual to be eligible to apply. Language instruction is not included in the course of study.
The Bilingual Authorization for Spanish Certificate authorizes instruction to English Learners. This program is available as an add-on to our Master of Arts in Teaching and it does require the completion of additional 3 units of coursework.
