Today, USC’s Rossier School of Education has accepted 16 companies into Cohort 8 of its Education Technology (Edtech) Accelerator, a program designed to help entrepreneurs improve their Edtech solutions, accelerate growth and increase impact.
The companies joining Cohort 8 are: Athena, Alfoze Technologies, Boombox, Ediphi, KindEd, Learn2Care, Learningly, OpenBook, Peninsula School District, Psyflo, Rukots, SchoolUX, sideby, StemGenius, SupaClass and Tecla Academy.
“We welcome the eighth cohort of Edtech entrepreneurs to the Accelerator program, and we look forward to helping this talented group improve the efficacy of their products, accelerate the growth of their businesses and meaningfully improve outcomes for learners all over the world.” said Mark DeGennaro, Managing Director of the Edtech Accelerator.
The Edtech Accelerator was established in 2018 and supports education solutions with high potential to improve the quality and equity of education, from early childhood through adult learning.

About the USC Rossier Edtech Accelerator: USC’s Edtech Accelerator is fully virtual, does not charge tuition or take equity in the companies that participate in the program or require that entrepreneurs relocate, making it accessible to all entrepreneurs irrespective of the ability to pay. Entrepreneurs in the program benefit from interaction with USC faculty and the University’s network of industry participants, advisors and mentors, are located all over the world and are developing solutions in all education markets, K-12, Higher Ed and Workforce.
