Bio

Jingxian Li is a Ph.D. student at the Rossier School of Education with a concentration in teacher education. She is interested in the measurement and assessment of teacher knowledge and instruction, teacher preparation, and teacher professional development. Currently, she works with Dr. Yasemin Copur-Gencturk on the NSF-funded project CAREER: Development of Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Mathematics Among Beginning Teachers. 

Prior to joining Rossier, Jingxian worked as a research assistant at TIMSS and PIRLS International Study Center for two years. Her work at TIMSS & PIRLS focused on Grade 4 and Grade 8 mathematics assessments and context questionnaires development.
