The Certificate in Gifted Education prepares educators to identify and respond to differences among gifted and talented students by providing the specialized knowledge necessary to address the varying needs, interests, and abilities of each student. The program gives graduates the unique skill set needed to recognize manifestations of giftedness among students with diverse cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds, particularly in urban education settings. Graduates will have the ability to identify underrepresented students as gifted and provide the appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of each student.Apply Learn More
