Four Rossier faculty named to 2014 Edu Scholars list
Four Rossier faculty are among an elite list of American education scholars singled out by education policy maven Rick Hess of the American Enterprise Institute in his Edu-Scholar rankings for 2014. Among the list of the top 200 education scholars whose work has most influenced the national education discourse are Dominic Brewer, Morgan Polikoff, Mary Helen Immordino-Yang and Katharine Strunk. The list uses both traditional academic measures such as the Google Scholar H-Index and non-traditional measures such as media/blog mentions, Amazon rankings and Klout scores, which include Twitter presence. The rankings are also determined through consultation with education thought leaders.
In a further breakdown of the rankings for the top ten Assistant Professors, Polikoff was number 2 and Immordino-Yang was number 5, making USC Rossier and Harvard the dominating universities in this group. The full story can be seen here: The 2014 RHSU Edu-Scholar Public Influence Rankings
