John Keith Robinson
Dr. John Robinson is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at the Rossier School of Education. For more than thirty years Dr. Robinson’s work has been bi-vocational. He is an educator and ordained clergyman and currently serves as a member of the clergy in both the Greek and Russian Orthodox churches and as an educator for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Dr. Robinson’s regular or weekly readings encompass four areas: imaginative literature (i.e., novels, short stories, poems), teacher education, theology/biblical exegesis and philosophy.
His teaching experience includes Parochial, Private, & Public K-12 schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He has taught Secondary English/Language Arts, English Second Language (ESL), and Reading and Writing Interventions. He is an experienced Instructional Literacy Coach, a Title III Instructional Coach, and an LAUSD Professional Development Presenter. Dr. Robison has also taught Philosophy and Religion at the Community College level and Framing Experience: EDUC 541; EDUC 541A and EDUC 568A and B at the University of Southern California (USC):
