K-12 Education Policy
Dr. Larry Hausner has been an educator for 17 years. For the past two summer sessions, Dr. Hausner has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Education in the Educational Leadership (EdD) program at the Rossier School of Education. Dr. Hausner’s career in education began as a teacher for elementary aged students in the Orange Unified School District after spending 10 years as a sportscaster. After teaching, he became the Assistant Principal at the same school. After serving in this capacity for two years, he was named principal. Since then, he has served as principal at two other schools and as the Administrative Director of Communications, Educational Technology, and Child Welfare and Attendance for two years. He is also President of Coaching Leadership, a consulting firm desired to coach and mentor principals in the state of Hawaii. Dr. Larry Hausner earned his doctorate in K-12 Leadership in Urban School Settings at the University of Southern California.
