1. What is a CEU?
- CEUs are recognized nationwide as a standard measurement of an individual's continuing education activity.
- CEUs serve as a permanent documentation of your professional development coursework.
- CEUs are NOT Graduate or University course credits.
- CEUs are a means of documenting the amount of professional development hours and/or trainings that you have acquired.
- CEU units are tied directly to the high quality workshops, conferences, seminars and certificate programs offered by the University of Southern California.
- USC CEU credits are approved through the instruction, direction and evaluation by qualified University faculty members.
- Complete and submit the CEU registration form to Office of Professional Development Programs along with a check or credit card number.
- You will receive your transcripts in the mail within ONE month (4 weeks) after your form has been submitted.
- To request additional transcript copies for past courses, please email Ignacio Cuevas at ijcuevas@usc.edu or call 213-743-1582.
- Please specify that you are requesting a NON-ACADEMIC CEU transcript.
- There is an $8.00 fee for duplicate transcripts.
- The LAUSD School District equates 3 CEU credits to 1 salary point.
